Book Review: Kidz ‘n’ Critters

A Storytelling Activity Book

By Linda Simpson and Roxanne Roberts

This is an unusual activity and story book. It is a wonderful imaginative mixture of colouring in pictures, puzzles, poems, photos and short stories. Featuring animals and insects and bugs native to Australia this book introduces animals which children from all around the world will recognize such as worms, birds and frogs as well as animals which are more familiar to children in Australia such as the Brown Orb Spider, geckos , kookaburras and parrots. This book review refers to the paper back version but I am very excited to see it is now out as a Kindle version with beautiful colour photos which really brings the critters to life!

  1. Thank you so much for your kind words, it’s easy to love your own book ‘baby’, then to have other people loving it as well, that’s Special.
Thanks again, Ruth and I look forward to sharing a storytelling time with you sometime in the future.
